Darren Clark

Overview

tbf Traffic are a major Temporary Traffic Management Company delivering traffic management solutions for major surfacing, civil and public utility companies. This work is both planned and emergency response. tbf Traffic are Quality Assured to BS EN ISO 9001/2015 for NHSS 12AB and 12D. This includes traffic management on motorways with and without hard shoulder, high and low speed dual carriageways, rural and urban traffic management.

tbf Traffic provide temporary traffic light solutions from simple two-way shuttle lane to multiple head urban traffic control systems, including pedestrian crossings. The lights incorporate the new active radar detection actuation system that constantly monitors traffic flows, adjusting green times and reporting remotely to the depots battery condition. It has shown a 24% reduction in traffic queues and automatically adjusts for peak tidal flows.

In addition tbf Traffic’s pedestrian barriers can incorporate a smart data chip linked to a mobile app provided for the visually impaired. This smart tool allows the visually impaired to be aware of footpath diversions and guided through the traffic management works with audible instructions from their mobile device.

Our utility works are also a major sector for our traffic management team, for both planned and emergency. A complete solution from survey, TTRO Application and safe, compliant delivery of traffic management that aims exceed expectation. There is a real need for total accuracy for the avoidance of FPNs and Section 74 Fines by local authorities.
