Administrator

Full time (8.30am-5pm Monday-Friday) on a permanent basis

tbf Traffic is currently seeking to recruit an office administrator to work from our traffic management depot in South Mimms, Hertfordshire.  Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Administrator will provide seamless administration support to the operational delivery of our South Mimms Depot. 

Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience within a similar, fast-paced administrative role. The post holder would benefit from an understanding of financial processes, and must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.

The Administrator needs to build good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Applications are welcomed from those who are able to prioritise their workload, ensuring work completed is accurate and to a high standard.

Traffic Management Planner

Based in South Mimms, Hertfordshire

50 hours per week on a permanent basis.

£40,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

tbf Traffic currently has a vacancy for an experienced Senior Traffic Management Planner to work out of our depot in South Mimms, Hertfordshire.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking applications from senior, experienced planners, who can demonstrate extensive and excellent knowledge of temporary traffic management solutions. Ideally 12D Lantra qualified – M1, M2, M5, M6 and M7 with excellent knowledge of Chapter 8.

The ideal candidate would need to demonstrate that they have experience in a similar position within the traffic management industry.

The successful candidates must be confident and able to work in a fast-paced office environment to provide full temporary traffic planning management. We are seeking candidates that are quality driven, methodical, and output focused to ensure works go ahead as per client requirements and applications.

Our planning team provides seamless traffic management planning and expertise to numerous clients. The successful candidates must demonstrate resilience under pressure and be able to manage complex issues professionally, while effectively communicating the issues.

As the Senior Planner, you will be required to build good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, attending site meetings as and when required and answering sometimes complex queries from a range of stakeholders.

The Senior Planner must be an advocate for development – on both personal and team levels – and stay abreast of future developments and innovations within the industry to provide a competitive service to our clients. The role is computer-based and therefore we ask that the post holder is proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Excellent knowledge of CAD TM drawing software experience is essential, and we would prefer this experience to be on CONE software.

Recruiting: Traffic Management Operatives

Suffolk, Essex, London, Cambridge & Hertfordshire

We are currently seeking to recruit experienced, hardworking, self-driven Traffic Management Operatives based in Suffolk, Essex, London, Cambridge & Hertfordshire to help deliver high-quality temporary traffic management solutions to our clients.

The role

The Traffic Management Operative role in as essential role at tbf Traffic – it sits at the heart of everything we do.

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will:

  • Be responsible for installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management
  • Deploy cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on both high and low speed roads
  • Support Health and Safety initiatives including reporting near misses and walk-by cards

Hours

The general hours of work are 50 per week. Due to the nature of the industry, the hours are not always sociable. Therefore, you could be required to work evenings, nights, or weekends.

Overtime is not guaranteed – however, you will be required to work overtime as necessary. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to follow instructions as directed, whilst using your own initiative when necessary.
