The job
Traffic Management Operative is an important job at tbf Traffic – it’s at the heart of what we do.
As a Traffic Management Operative, it will be your job to install and remove temporary traffic management, including putting out the cones, signs, sandbags and other equipment needed on both high- and low-speed roads.
Ideal candidate
If you’re the ideal person for this job you’ll be motivated to get stuff done. You’ll have experience, be hardworking and flexible, and really enjoy traffic management.
You will need to demonstrate you’ve got knowledge and ability to follow instructions, while using initiative when necessary.
Working hours
Generally, Traffic Management Operatives will work 50 hours a week.
Due to the nature of the work, hours aren’t always sociable, so – you won’t mind working evenings, nights and weekends when required. You will also be part of an on-call rota.
Overtime is not guaranteed, but may be required if necessary.
